With over 26 years of experience in Mississippi Schools, Dr. Leigh Mobley brings a district level perspective that enhances the NewPath desire to assist Mississippi schools in making the most of the resources at hand.
During her tenure as an elementary teacher, she worked to understand curriculum, develop activities and lessons, and implement teaching strategies to reach all students. As a building level administrator, Leigh worked to create professional learning communities, manage budgets, and create an atmosphere where all students could be successful. With over sixteen years as a district level administrator, Leigh served as Curriculum and Instruction Director, Technology Director, ELL Coordinator, Professional Development Director, and Assessment Director. She developed and implemented curriculum for districts that range in size from under two thousand students to over seven thousand. In addition, Leigh developed and implemented staff development workshops and institutes for hundreds of teachers. While at the district office, she also developed and implemented board policies, and insured accreditation standard compliance.
